Mango Yogurt Smoothie

Mango Yogurt Smoothie


4 to 7 ice cubes
1 cup (8 ounces) plain fat-free yogurt
3/4 cup mango slices in extra light syrup,* drained
1 teaspoon sugar substitute (optional)
Mango slices for garnish (optional)
  1. Place ice in bottom of blender. Add yogurt, mango and sugar substitute, if desired. Blend ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with mango slices, if desired.
  3. Serve immediately.
Makes 1 serving.

*Mango slices can be found in jars in your grocery store's produce section.

Fruity Smoothie

Fruity Smoothie

1 large DOLE Banana peeled
1 (8-ounce) can DOLE Pineapple Chunks, drained
1 cup DOLE Fresh or Fresh Frozen Strawberries partially thawed
1 cup nonfat strawberry yogurt
2 tablespoons soy or whey protein powder
  1. Slice banana into blender or food processor. Add pineapple, strawberries, yogurt, and protein powder.
  2. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Variations: Replace 1 cup strawberries and nonfat strawberry yogurt with:

Peach: 1 cup DOLE Fresh Frozen Sliced Peaches and nonfat peach yogurt

Raspberry: 1 cup DOLE Fresh or Fresh Frozen Raspberries and nonfat mixed-berry yogurt

Blueberry: 1 cup DOLE Fresh Frozen Blueberries and nonfat blueberry yogurt

Mixed Berry: 1 cup DOLE Fresh Frozen Mixed Berries and nonfat mixed-berry yogurt
Makes 3 servings.

Pomegranate Berry Smoothies

2 cups Ocean Spray® Cran·Pomegranate™ Cranberry Pomegranate Juice Drink
1 cup frozen unsweetened red raspberries
1 cup strawberry sorbet
  1. Combine cranberry pomegranate juice drink and raspberries in large blender. Blend on high speed for 15 seconds or until smooth and slushy. Add sorbet. Blend on medium speed for 5 seconds or until mixed.
Makes 2 servings.

2 cups ice cubes
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup Italian Sweet Crème Flavor NESTLÉ COFFEE-MATE Liquid Coffee Creamer
  1. Place ice, orange juice and Coffee-mate in blender; cover. Blend at high speed until smooth. Serve immediately.

Banana Strawberry Shake

1 large ripe banana, sliced
5 packets SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener
1/2 cup reduced fat milk
1 1/4 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries
  1. Combine all ingredients in the jar of a blender. Blend on medium speed until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and serve.

1 large sliced ripe banana
1 1/4 cups unsweetened frozen raspberries
5 packets SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener
1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
  1. Place banana in freezer for 10 minutes or until slightly firm.
  2. Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Serve immediately.

'Banana's Foster' Smoothie

Take the flavors of a classic Bananas Foster and blend them up in this satisfying caramel and banana smoothie. This quick and easy drink is perfect for breakfast or a quick afternoon pick-me-up.






2 packets SPLENDA® Flavors for Coffee, Caramel
3/4 cup reduced fat milk
1 tablespoon orange juice
1/4 teaspoon banana extract
1 (2 inch) slice of banana
  1. Mix all ingredients, except banana, in a microwaveable bowl or cup. Heat in microwave 50 to 60 seconds or until hot. Pour into a blender and add banana. Cover tightly and blend 15 to 20 seconds or until banana is pureed. Pour into serving glass and serve immediately.
