- 2 cups fresh blackberries or 1 can of blackberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup cold water
- Lemonade
Instructions
- Mix fresh blackberries with 1/2 cup sugar or use can of blackberries.
- Strain through a sieve.
- Pour water through the sieve to dilute the syrup.
- Freeze in ice cube tray.
- Serve 2 to 3 cubes in each glass of lemonade.
- Other berries, especially raspberries and loganberries, may be used in place of the blackberries.
- The solid fruit which remains can be forced through the sieve and used for fruit cream.
