Filtered Coffee Recipe

Ingredients for Filtered Coffee Recipe 2
For French or Percolated Coffee
* 1 cup coffee (finely ground)
* 6 cups boiling water
Instructions
1. Place coffee in strainer, strainer in coffee-pot, and pot on the stove
2. Gradually add boiling water and allow it to filter
3. Cover between additions of water
4. Re-filter if a stronger taste is desired
5. Serve at once with sugar and cream
6. In place of cream, scalded milk, or part milk/part cream may be substituted
Coffee percolators are preferably used when coffee is made at table
